Keswick Mountain Rescue Team
Comprises 45 members, all unpaid volunteers, who are available at all times of the day and night in any weather, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress and lost on the mountains in the Lake District. Currently, we attend about 136 rescues a year.
Brathay Trust
Brathay Trust works with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
